| Bio: | When I tell people what I do for a living, they invariably say something to the effect of, "You're a what?" When I tell people my boyfriend and I have been together almost nine years, they act almost as incredulous as they did when they found out what I do for a living. I'm either a very chipper morbid person, or a very somber happy person. No one's figured that one out yet. I have two university degrees, and not counting Shakespeare, I can't name a single book I read for school. Wait. I had to read, "The Bone People," by Keri Hulme, but it's one of my favourite books ever, so that doesn't really count. I make stuffed animals once in a while, but they're all slightly unsettling. Like my Siamese Cats (which would have been more appropriately called "Siamese Twin Cats."), or my Heroin Bunny. Or Buttons, the scary monster who loves you. I spend money as though the spending itself releases a narcotic substance directly into my blood. Thus my monthly allowance. I think I could stand to lose about 15 pounds. But I could also just start buying my shirts in size medium and get used to the idea. I haven't decided yet. I don't decide things very well. And about five paragraphs ago, I had already decided that I would replace this biography with a better one, just as soon as I can be bothered to think of something better. | |
